[ Ah. Kisa's silent for a moment, peeking out at him from under her blanket. ]

[WHY IS KISA SO SMART. He doesn't know if he should be enthralled or irritated.]

Even here, it's confidential. We never know who is going to be pulled inside this town. It could be someone dangerous from our world. Here, I'm only Damian.

[And then he shifts, sliding her legs off him so he can stand. He offers his hands out to her.]

We need to build a fire. We're even. Don't ever ask me to do something like that again.

O-okay.

[ It's a very meek, contrite answer. Even though she still thinks having to bury Damian was worse than anything, it's true that he clearly wasn't happy with having to help her on this quest. He still had, though, and Kisa quietly appreciates it, even as she lifts her arms to place her palms in his and gathers her legs underneath her to rise with his help.

"Only" Damian, she thinks, as though simply that isn't incredibly amazing. ]

[Gently, he pulls her to her feet with little effort.] Come on. [He untangles from the blanket and wraps it around her, too, with the others. And then he moves to gather up everything else, his clothes included.]

We can stop by the house I arrived in. It's in Bluo. There's a "roommate."

[So even though the boathouse has long been abandoned, he has flight between the Flavo cottage where things are hoarded and a house in Bluo.]

It's closest, and it will have fire.

I didn't know you lived with anyone else.

[ She's more inquisitive than accusatory, and she'll follow him in her robe of Many Blankets. ]

[He leads, of course... as he is wont to do and all that. Damian.]

I don't technically. The town just put him there. I've kept tabs on the house I arrived in even if I spend most of the time in the cottage in Flavo.

Oh... you don't want to stay with him?

[ Granted, he'd really seemed to know his way around that cottage. ]

Roommates are not a craved priority, no. I'll have to spend more time watching him. [As opposed to talk to him. DAMIAN.]

Then he has the potential to come up with falsifications. It's better to pay attention to what people do rather than what they say.

[Damian glances over his shoulder to make a face at Kisa.] What point, exactly, are you attempting to make? I can do both, but I prefer to survey him initially. [What are normal, social human interactions.

The house isn't far. Damian doesn't knock or anything of the like, even if he hasn't spent a terrible amount of time in this place as opposed to a boathouse and a cottage in Flavo.

Just inside the door, he holds up a hand, listening. When he can't discern any movement, he waves her on, leading her into the den so he can try to rouse the fire back to life.]

[ Kisa follows cautiously, more to be polite than out of any kind of fear. She's got nothing more to say in terms of Damian socializing or not, realizing she'd be a bit of a hypocrite, but... maybe his roommate will be another friend for him.
